Road Tripping - Byron Bay

Kate and I have just made it back from a couple weeks R&R in Byron Bay - I'd always wanted to see more of Australia so we drove up the long way along the coast. We hoped to get in some surfing athough I was a little nervous after hearing reports of a shark attack the area, If that doesn't freak you out enough a paddle boarder fell onto a shark a few days later in the same area. Locals we spoke to laughed it off saying that he had actually attacked the shark, scaring the hell out of it. Anyhow we managed to get some magic waves, didn't get eaten and I was lucky enough the see a humpback breaching a few hundred meters from the lineup.
